Carolyn Ann Moore is an award-winning contemporary artist who has been painting for more than 20 years in acrylics, mixed media and water color.

Her paintings convey the essence, rather than the detail, of a subject, communicating visually, enacting experience and energizing the spirit. Color tracks its own course – freely, independently and leisurely. Marks move back and forth, both flexible and rigid.

Her paintings capture energy – an internal combustion, acting on impulse – an inherent power with capacity for action in the moment. The lightness of freedom – unexplained and wanting to be released – searching, soaring and enriching the spirit by shapes, pools of liquid color, moving rhythmically over the surface.
